A SAR/DR MP “ground school” class covering the preparatory training requirements for the MP specialty rating will be conducted at Wing Headquarters Building.The course material will be presented over a period of two evenings from 1900-2100 hrs. Tues 31 Jan and Wed 1 Feb 2012 at the Wing Hq’s building in Concord.

Candidate prerequisites for ground training are:
· Current CAP VFR Pilot
· Current Mission Scanner
· Current Transport Mission Pilot
· Age eligibility - Senior Member - 18 or over
· 175 hrs PIC
· Completion of :
o General Emergency Services
o IS100 –IS-100
o IS200-IS-200
o IS00-IS-700
o Aircraft Ground Handling Video

What is a 101 Card?
A CAP Form 101, commonly referred to as a 101 Card is your ticket into emergency services. This card shows mission staff at a glance what you are qualified to do when you sign in for a mission and is required before you can begin any hands on training in emergency services.

To enter you ICS courses in eservice for approval you
select My Operations Qualifications/national Reports
At the Operations Qualifications main page select Emergency Services
On the Emergency Services Page Select the SQTR Tab
Select Achievements and locate the ICS Course you completed
Next enter the date of completion then select submit
After this has been submitted it will be forwarded to Wing for approval.
After approval it will show up on your 101 card |
